Our food is probably more local than you! Meat is from Mr Cox, St Peter's village butcher,or Monkshill Farm
To start
Fresh seasonal soup, with bread roll
House pate with salad garnish and brown toast
Garlic mushrooms; Chislet mushrooms in a garlic cream sauce, on toast.

From the Carvery
The Sunday Roast to include:
Honey Roast Gammon; Roast Topside of Beef; Roast Lamb joint
The weekly Hot-Pot — our slow roast joint with root vegetables and herb dumplings
The Sunday Game– direct from the Godmersham shoot
From the Kitchen;
Yorkshire pudding, filled with local vegetables in a cheese sauce (v)
Our own nut roast, with a light tomato sauce (v)
Local catch—from the Margate boat or the Romney Marsh fishermans co-operative

All served with a selection of fresh local vegetables from Nash and Heronsgate Farms.



Desserts
You Table Assistant will inform you of our fresh home made desserts, which are all at £4.95. While our local fruit farm – Sunlight growers in Stodmarsh – still has loads of great fruit, they WILL include:
Plum Victoria (This is our version of Apple Charlotte!)
Apple and wild blackberry crumble
Our own raspberry sorbet with shortbread biscuit
Cappuccino crème brulee
And to finish why no try a fresh ground coffee made to your liking or one of our speciality teas.
